About us
Elephant Corridor Films is a female-led media company from Bangalore, India, specialising in producing documentaries that present pressing social and environmental stories through a distinct feminist lens.
We were founded in 2002 by film school friends Rajani Mani and
Nina Subramani as a collective space to share meaningful stories about human-animal conflict mitigation, ecosystem conservation, sustainable food systems, indigenous knowledge, and climate change.
Since 2019, Rajani Mani has been leading the organization, and steering its vision forward.
Our films have featured on Al Jazeera, Doordarshan, FTV Prima Spol
and ARTE. Among our notable productions are the award-winning films
‘In God’s Own Country’ and ‘Miles to Go’. Our latest documentary ‘Colonies in Conflict’, premiered and won the Best Independent Production Award at WILDLIFE FILM FESTIVAL ROTTERDAM 2022. Other notable awards include SOUTHERN LIGHTS AWARD at SILBERSALZ, JURY AWARD at NATURE IN FOCUS and
Honorable Mention at the JACKSON WILD 2022.

WRITING
With a tight research in place, we are adept at securing a script that guides a project along through production. Our intimate approach to understanding people, and their interactions with their environment ensures that our written words portray a unique perspective to any story.
POST PRODUCTION
"Photography is truth. And cinema is truth twenty-four times a second" said Jean-Luc Godard. Editing is sometimes the hardest and the longest process in filmmaking. We bring together creative talent and technical knowledge to every film. Our team specializes in both short form and long form editing, color grading, visual fx and sound mixing, as well as online, mastering, and deliverables for television & streaming platforms.
